I went to the Milo Hidup Bola thingy last Saturday. Went to check out what the hype was all about, especially because my effing irritating friend Sham-rock kept bugging me to come along with him. So what the heck, Sham said they had those free Milo trucks, and those milo they serve is too good to pass up. So with the thought of the cold, delicious, awesomest tingling-sensation cup of free milo, aku Aftaz Mohamed Anwar, bangun pukul 8 pagi hari sabtu, just to go to SportsPlanet in Subang. The place was crawling dengan budak-budak kecik yang berpeluh bau masam macam asam, tapi thank god the MILO van was there. Asalkan Milo sejuk ada, semua jalan.

Best jugak seeing the under-12 kids main bola, serius best. Agak terrer jugak si ketot-ketot berbaju besar main bola, even though bola tu lagi besar dari kepala dia. Is it me or are the younger generation makin lama makin kecik, sebab setahu aku la masa aku 12 tahun aku rasa aku double their sizes. One team had girls playing in it, and they lost. Go figure.

Boleh tahan la budak-budak under-12 ni, some of them better than me I can say. Paling terrer sekali Krishnan, main tuk team SitiNurNilam, gelecek dribble macam pro, tapi size kecik macam budak 6 tahun. Aku tiup sikit confirm tumbang. Whatever it is, I wished they jadi air-conditioning in there, cause it was seriusly HOT. I dont mean hot as in cool ke best ke, I mean panas bahang macam matahari atas kepala. If you didnt sweat there, you must have either been dead for a while or you've had your sweat glands removed. I think dalam 20 cawan MILO sejuk aku settle. Lepak-lepak around the courts, I chatted up with one of the futsal under-16 coaches there, Mr. Zainuddin. Nama team dia Misai, mentang-mentang coach dia misai tebal.

So according to him, he's been participating in the competition for three years now, and he likes how the Milo competition brings all the races at one placeto play futsal. Coincidently, lepas aku borak-borak dengan dia, team Misai menang juara under-16's, must be my good charms and amazing intense luck-attracting abilities that I have. So any teams yang nak good luck, I charge RM 200 per match, sebab prize money dia RM20000. Hahaha. Anyways the event was good la, with the level of skills of the kids that were there, I've replenished the hope of Malaysia's coming into the international arena. Hopefully la. I'll update more on the event, because now I'm planning to go to every single one of it. MILO truck better be there. Somore pics further down, enjoy and come to the next one-lah!

Hello kawan-kawan that i have not seen in a while besides Sharifah,

As you can see on the title my message is across clearly but i also have something else to say. Im assuming most of us was high on something during the countdown or what not (nabil for sure) haha, but next time try this.

1. The day before have one hour of sleep.
2. Start taking shots of whisky, 7 or 8 depending on tolerance
3. Have some whisky coke ( 3 or 4 glasses )
4. BONG. ( 4 or 5 times )

Results are unbelievable haha.

Yesterday, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal played out one of the best matches that i have had the opportunity to see. I mean i didnt get to see the whole match, (It was around 7 hours in total with the rain delays and all) but what i saw was just awesome tennis la. I mean this is just the reason why we watch tennis. If you didnt already know Nadal won, 6-4 6-4 6-7(5-7) 6-7(8-10) 10-8. Five sets of the highest quality tennis seen in a long long time. Undoubtedly this is the end of an era, all hail the new king of tennis. Fucking big-arms big-ass spaniard.

The highlight of Wimbledon for me, Marat reaching the semis.

After his epic five-set battle, Roger Federer was due in the press interview room at 9.55pm, with the newly minted champion Rafael Nadal next up at 10.20pm. Perhaps to make sure that he would only have to do the 10-minute minimum as the world waited for him to dissect his defeat, the beaten finalist eventually appeared, red-eyed and disconsolate, at 10.10pm on the dot. What followed was as much of a roller-coaster as the match itself.

"I thought we both played well," he said, before beginning a litany of lethargically raised eyebrows and shrugged shoulders. "The rain didn’t help me that much – I didn’t win the match, did I? Though the Swiss German media tried to perk his spirits up by asking him whether he would take some holidays prior to beginning the second half of the hard-court season, there was no consoling Roger. Petronas has Nothing to do with Price Hike.

Since the fuel hike, wild accusations and wild responses have ensued. Today, I read emails asking consumers to boycott Petronas retail outlets. While many are genuinely concerned with the quantum of price increase, we are in many ways reacting based on information and misinformation. Let me elaborate why boycotting Petronas retail outlets is not the correct thing to do. Hopefully, this will help us to be more rational in this whole episode. While we can disagree with the price hike, we must understand that it has very little to do with Petronas. The retail price of petroleum products in Malaysia is decided and fixed by the Government through what is generally known as the ''automatic pricing mechanism or APM" - a mechanism where the retail price is determined by the price of crude, the refinery cost, marketing and distribution costs, tax imposed by the Government and the commission paid to station owners. For a long time, the APM ensured price stability at the retail level. The volatility of crude oil prices (albeit within a reasonable range) does not affect the retail price because the Government fixed it by varying the amount of taxes it levied on the petroleum products. The mechanism works well so long as the prices of crude fluctuates within a reasonable range. However, when the prices of crude started to escalate as in the recent years, the APM could no longer hold. To maintain the same retail price, the Government initially had to reduce the tax levied on petroleum products. Soon, the Government not only had to totally forgo the taxes but also introduce subsidies in order to maintain the same retail price. As crude prices continued to escalate, the subsidies shouldered by the Government continued to increase in tandem. Oil companies, like Petronas and Shell charge the Government the market price of petroleum products that is different from the retail price. The Government subsidizes the consumers by paying the difference between the market price and the retail price to the oil companies. That is the system, as I understand it. I think we must discern the issues involved here. Petronas as one of the retailers of petroleum products in Malaysia is different and apart from the Government's policy on subsidies. The retail price of petroleum products as it stands today is NOT for PETRONAS to determine. It is for the GOVERNMENT to decide.

Ana Ivanovic. 3rd time lucky.

After losing in her two previous Grand Slam Finals to Justine Henin and Maria Sharapova respectively, Ana went one up this time round with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Dinara Safina here at Roland Garros. Not only has she succeeded in winning her first grand slam title, but when the rankings are announced this Monday, she will have over taken Maria Sharapova and will be the new world number one.

Now, the only reason I'm posting this up is this. Ana Ivanovic is not bad looking. Actually, she's quite hot. I only realised this before the tournament started, no idea why i didn't notice her earlier. Haha, so yea. Apart from her, I find two other female tennis players hot. Daniela Hantuchova and Maria Sharopova. Special mention goes to Martina Hingis. Not sure why you people need to know this but just felt like blogging and sharing.

I just watched this movie last night, actually, technically this morning. Anyways, i recommend you guys so watch this. Story line's not exactly super. Its quite complicated if your slow. But the actions scene's are cool. Whereas in the game, Agent 47 is all about stealth, in the movie he's either very stealthy (is that a word?) or just doesn't give a damn and just goes on killing people. Brilliantness. Go watch it. Oh and the actress in the movie, Olga Kurylenko is hot. She also happens to be the Bond girl in the next series, Quantum of Solace.

I went to the KL Freeze Unison the other day, and it was awesome. Meeting point was at Lot 10 Bukit Bintang. Tons of people wondering around Lot 10, and people were passing out these yellow leaflets, like in the picture. So we had to trot ourselves down to Pavilion for the main event. Some tourist folks even followed the crowd, even tho they didnt know what was happening. The freezing thing wasnt actually truely syncronised, but it was okay and i regretted doing the 'walking' pose. It was painful people.

Hello everyone. Shall we look back at the year that is going to end? Lets bring back memories. Shirlene's birthday at fridays, Sanctuary with nizam - the day my phone got soaked, smoking up at the flat and the sunway semenyih house, Xaty's birthday at PD, forest bar bangra night with very high harjit, fashion show, issac's /ning khang's car crash, the last night of foundation at maison, speed zone. There were many many other things before the holidays. After the holidays, without aftaz and ian things sort of changed for me especially so not that many memories with you guys but well all the clubbing nights at least haha. Oh with nabil and xaty driving around at 1 looking for a shortcut to bangi haha and stuffing ourselves with burger king. Anyways guys i know this is very cliche and all but thanks for being great friends and i hope for more goodnessss and happyyness and everything nice in 2008.

This is also an excellent opportunity for you to determine the course of the YM community in
Malaysia. Come and talk with the committee members, we would really like to hear your thoughts of what the YMP can do for you and other engineers alike, young and/or experienced.

We will also definitely use this opportunity to discuss the YM community’s activity for this year
like the “Speak Out For Engineering” Competition finals to be held in Australia next year. Also the 2006/2007’s Asian Region “Speak Out for Engineering” Competition Champion who brought home this year’s trophy will be present to talk about his experience.

No plans to change AP system to auction based.

A few MPs raised a point regarding the AP system for the import of cars in Malaysia at the Dewan Rakyat earlier this week - and MITI deputy minister Datuk Ahmad Husni Mohamad Hanadzlah says the government is not planning to auction APs, instead keeping to the current system of dishing them out for free.
“Auctioning can jeopordise the business of Bumiputra entrepreneurs in the automotive sector as it will be difficult to plan ahead and make long term investments. The government introduced the AP system with the intention of developing Bumiputra entrepreneurs capable of competing and achieving progress in the automotive industry. The Bumiputra entrepreneurs would have to invest in terms of capital, showroom space, service centre, have links with financial institutions and establish a network of dealership,” said the deputy minister.
Are non-bumiputra entrepreneurs in the automotive sector somehow immune to difficulties to plan ahead and make long term investments?

Nuclear Malaysia History

Nuclear Malaysia (formerly known as MINT) was established in 1972 as the Tun Ismail Atomic Research Centre (PUSPATI). Infrastructural development on the 27-hectare at Bangi commenced in January 1979, culminating in its coming into full operation in June 1982 with the commissioning of its nuclear research reactor. I've never written to you before, but I really need your advice.

I have suspected for some time now that my wife has been cheating on me. The usual signs; phone rings but if I answer, the caller hangs up. My wife has been going out with 'the girls' a lot recently although when I ask their names she always says, 'Just some friends from work, you don't know them.'

I always try to stay awake to look out for her coming home, but I usually fall asleep. Anyway, I have never approached the subject with my wife. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to really check on her.

Around midnight, I decided to hide in the garage behind my golf clubs so I could get a good view of the whole street when she arrived home from a night out with 'the girls'. When she got out of the car she was buttoning up her blouse, which was open, and she took her panties out of her purse and slipped them on. It was at that moment, crouching behind my clubs, that I
noticed that the graphite shaft on my driver appeared to have a hairline crack right by the club head.

Is this something I can fix myself or should I take it back to the pro shop where I bought it?

A father whose daughter has been obsessed with pop star Andy Lau for 13 years committed suicide in Hong Kong one day after he managed to help his daughter meet her idol.
The 68-year old father was a retired middle school teacher earning a pension of 1900 yuan per month (~US$230) while the mother was unable to work due to her poor health. They had even sold their only apartment in order for them to afford a trip to Hong Kong.
Yang Lijuan, the daughter, finally met Lau this past week after the family traveled from their home in China’s Lanzhou city. The daughter joined Lau’s fan club and took some pictures with the star on Sunday, but the father still felt unhappy with the meeting. He complained that Lau should have spent more private time and with his daughter, and then threatened his life if the star didn’t.

As a result, the family had no money left after their trip to Hong Kong and had to stay in a 24-hour fast food restaurant for the night. The next day, the 54-year-old wife woke up and noticed her husband was missing then found a letter saying that he hoped the Hong Kong government could take care of his family for him.
In the 12-page suicide note, the father blamed Lau for everything: “My family was reduced to poverty because of you… and you will be cursed and despised for your wrongdoing. You should meet my daughter, give her an autograph and save her life as you are the only one who can touch her heart.”
In previous reports, Yang mentioned how he was planning to sell his kidney for his daughter’s trip to see Lau in Hong Kong - her third trip to the city.
The father died by jumping into Salisbury Sea in Kowloon where his body was later found.

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phenoix (2007)

Appaling. Absolutely horrendous. In my honest opinion, the most terrible Harry Potter book adaptation to date. Out of 5 stars, I'd give it negative infinity if there's such a number. But then again, just my opinion. The book itself is 766 pages long and the movie was only 2 hours and 8 mins long? What the fuck's up with that? For an overzealous fan such as myself, I wouldn't have minded sitting down for an hour longer. Each Lord of the Rings book was shorter, yet each movie was around/nearly three hours long. At least do justice to the book for fuck's sake. I don't know if i should be pissed at the screen writers or the director. Possibly both but less on the director. I wanna castrate their balls, put it on a stick, let it freeze in ice before smashing it up.

The movie itself seemed rushed and really lacked depth or a sense of direction in it. It just moved from one scene to another to another to another. And what's up with the newspaper scene where they just skip out little scene's that could have made the movie a lot more enjoyable. Urgghh! I've got so much pent up frustration and anger against this movie, its annoying me. For those who haven't read the book yet watched the movie, they might have thought that the movie was alright. For those who read the book, who can say they're fully 100% satisfied with the movie? The movie had potential but it let down. I can only say that the first and possibly the second movie's were commendable adaptations. The next one's a goner as I don't see how they can make it movie worthy. It'll just be all about Harry and Dumbledore learning about Voldermort's past. Maybe they'll add the small scenes in the book that made it rich in detail. Who knows. Here's hoping that the last movie will be great. The book was beautifully written.

Probably, the only two things worth mentioning about this movie are these two.

i would like to urge everyone to start using sunscreen products whenever you're going out in the sun, if you dont already do so. we're already exposed to some many types of cancer so let's reduce the chances of getting skin cancer through the exposure to uv rays.

SPF 30 or higher is recommended, and apply 20 minutes before going outdoors.

i should volunteer for the national cancer council.

Captain Underpants

I'm not sure how many of you all have heard of this. Anyone? Its a comic/story book. I used to read them back in Year 7 & 8. Great fun. Its about two 4th graders, George and Harold who write comic books about a superhero they made up in their spare time, 'Captain Underpants'. However, their superhero comes alive when they hypnotize their principal, Mr.Krupp, to act like Captain Underpants. From then on, whenever a person snaps his/her fingers, Mr.Krupp transforms into Captain Underpants and can only turn back if water is poured over his head.

Some of my favourite books of the series are; Captain Underpants and the Invasion of the Incredibly Naughty Cafeteria Ladies from Outer Space (and the Subsequent Assault of the Equally evil Lunchroom Zombie Nerds), Captain Underpants and the Wrath of the Wicked Wedgie Woman and lastly, Captain Underpants and the Big, Bad Battle of the Bionic Booger Boy Part 1: The Night of the Nasty Nostril Nuggets.

Anyways, why am I blogging about this you might wonder. The other day, I had to go to my sister's school, the Year 6's were so called 'graduating' into secondary school, so they had a ceremony to commemorate the event. Some students gave short speeches of their times in primary school, their favourite teachers, what they enjoyed most, what they want to me when they grow up, bla bla bla and so on. Anyways, this one kid came dressed up like Captain Underpants and said that his most enjoyed moment in school was when he played as Captain Underpants in some play in Year 3.

Have to admit that he was brave coming to something like this dressed like that. After all, parents and teachers were present as well. But he enjoyed it.
