Minutes to Midnight

Say whatever you want about linkin park. High school, gay bla bla bla. To me they are one of the best rock bands around and minutes to midnight proves that. They are not as electronic and hip hop as before with meteora and hybrid theory was it? yeah. Minutes to midnight is more "mellow" rock now with lovely melodies and tunes. Sometimes almost like coldplay yet still very original. There are about 3 or 4 high energy songs with fast paced beats and chester's famous shouting. Then there is about 2 rap-styled mike shinoda stuff. The rest are just the peaceful calming like songs. Lovely. The lyrics are inspired by events like the hurricane and of course bush. The design of the cover is unique, not like the usual plastic cover with the booklet. Its soft and opens to three parts like the collision course cds , nice simple black and white designs. The booklet is colourful with lyrics for each song and how it was made.

The only complaints are : The album is only 43.31 minutes with 12 songs. The price tag is 39.90 and dumbass warner music malaysia have censored the fucks.

Other than that the album is a superb buy and i am thoroughly enjoying it. Yeah! Linkin Park!
