IMechE Social Gathering.
Dear Members,
It’s a happy day!
We are proud to announce our first social meeting for all young IMechE members!
As you may already know, we have just established the first Young Member’s Panel and committee
(YMP) and it is our pleasure to invite you to our first ever social meeting! Below are the meeting
details:
Date - 5th December 2007
Time - 7.30 pm
Venue - Nottingham University,
Level 2,
Chulan Tower,
No. 3 Jalan Conlay,
50450 Kuala Lumpur.
Do you have any question or would like to know or what are the current trends for mechanical
engineers in Malaysia? Why not come on to our meeting? It would be an excellent opportunity for us to interact and network with each other as well as meet ex-uni mates! Come on over and have a good time. Food and drinks will be provided for you during the night.
This is also an excellent opportunity for you to determine the course of the YM community in
Malaysia. Come and talk with the committee members, we would really like to hear your thoughts of what the YMP can do for you and other engineers alike, young and/or experienced.
We will also definitely use this opportunity to discuss the YM community’s activity for this year
like the “Speak Out For Engineering” Competition finals to be held in Australia next year. Also the 2006/2007’s Asian Region “Speak Out for Engineering” Competition Champion who brought home this year’s trophy will be present to talk about his experience.
Our own IMechE Malaysia Chairperson will also be present to give a talk on how to achieve your
professional engineering status as well as answer your toughest questions you can throw at him!
We would really appreciate your attendance to make the YM community a success. If you have any friends you know who are IMechE members and are below or at the age of 30 drag them along too.
